| Vacationing In Winter The Cruise Style |
|
Vacationing onboard a luxury cruise is an excellent idea at any time of the year. This is because the sea is one natural entity which remains cold in summers and hot in winters. Hence, if you are looking to beat any of these two weather categories for a short period of time, a cruise is the perfect solution for you. Following are the cruise destinations that you can head to:
1. The Caribbean: The Caribbean region has been the most perfect destination for sailors since the time of its discovery. Those who live in the Eastern part of the United States would find it a perfect place to beat their winter blues. The region has some of the best natural land (and sea) scapes in the world. 2. The Hawaii: If you stay in the western part of the United States and are looking for a cruise vacation destination, then the Hawaii Island in the Pacific Ocean are a perfect spot for you. Have at least two weeks on your hand as that is the usual length of the cruise vacations. 3. The Mediterranean: For people across the world, the tropical region of the Mediterranean has provided an excellent destination for cruising since the Greek times (OK, the Greeks were more involved in fighting rather than enjoying a holiday onboard their ships). The temperature is warm and the weather system is not too dynamic as well. Availability of good food and some of the best wines in the world makes cruise vacations in the region a much sought after thing. It is a must-have experience for people from all over the world. 4. The Nile: Surprising it might seem to many but the Nile river in Egypt is also a perfect cruise vacation spot. It is the longest river in the world and a journey through its waters can take you through not just the length of Africa but through an entirely different time as well. You will be able to find remains of the ancient Egyptian civilization adorning its sides. Further, the region is also rich in different types of flora and fauna. 5. The South Pacific: There are numerous volcanic islands in the Pacific Ocean that can form an excellent cruise destination. Tahiti and other French Polynesian islands are an example of such islands. The beaches are white, the water is blue and the land is nothing but a patch of green. For those of you who are accustomed to nothing except an urban, concrete jungle, the natural beauty of the place would come as soothing experience. Apart from these five cruise destinations, you can also check out the Southern tip of African continent (around South Africa and the Madagascar island), the Mexican Riviera, and the islands comprising Indonesia.
